When completing the online form a payment must be made for the tournament, per the terms and conditions in point 10 below.

  1. Individual entries only will be accepted (the Committee will arrange the entries into balanced teams).
  2. Playing fee of $45.00 must accompany the Entry Form.
  3. Entries submitted late or without the playing fee will not be guaranteed placement in a team.
  4. Players should be aged 35 or over on the date of the tournament.
  5. One day entries – For those unable to play a whole weekend, you can enter with another player of similar badminton skills; option to play one day each or alternating matches, splitting the entry fee. If your joint partner pulls out, you are responsible for providing another player.
  6. Players should be dressed in suitable badminton attire.
  7. Matches will consist of Doubles and Mixed Doubles only. The number and format of games will be decided by the Committee depending on the number of entries.
  8. In the event that a player withdraws from the competition, the playing fee will be refunded only if at least 72 hours’ notice is given to the Organising Committee.
  9. Entries close on Sunday 21 May 2022 and should be sent before that date to either the postal or email address below, to be received no later than 21 May.
  10. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or electronically* to Hobart Veterans Badminton Association BSB 067-002 A/C 28036437. *Please enter your name as the reference.
  11. Entry into the tournament is consent to have your photo used on either the STBA website or the sponsors website. Names will not accompany the photos.  If you do not want your photo used, please advise us at the time of entry.
  12. Everyone will be required to adhere to current Covid-safe policies in effect at STBA
  13. Full refund if event is cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions
